Joshua Best

Joshua Best is a Global Mobility Specialist currently working at an HR Tech company that helps employers hire anyone anywhere in the world. His current role is a reflection of his 9+ years of experience spanning recruitment, higher education, coaching, and community management that reflects his passion for helping others empower themselves with the right tools to land the right the opportunity.

Outside of his full-time work he has coached people from all over the world including students entering college to senior executives preparing for career transitions. Joshua also hosts the Why We Travel podcast that he launched with the intention of creating space in the intersection of work, travel, and culture while empowering people to make their home anywhere in the world that they can thrive as their best self.

Joshua has a master’s degree in International Relations from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park. While he calls Maryland home, his love for traveling and the digital nomad lifestyle has afforded him the opportunity to travel to 39 different countries. In his spare time he enjoys anime, reading, and fitness.
