COLLEGE COUNSELOR
Jen Ewing Fox
Jen Ewing Fox is a proud Baltimore native with over fifteen years of experience in both K-12 and higher education as a success coach, academic advisor, teacher, administrator, and college counselor. Her passion centers on supporting students throughout their educational journeys, while tailoring that experience to meet their individual needs. College admissions decision-making can be full of heightened emotions and challenges. Thus, Jen uses her background in counseling and emotional intelligence training to guide each student as they forge ahead on their path to becoming the best version of themselves. By focusing on reflection, Jen strives to help her clients through their processes in a way that is meaningful for both students and families alike.
In 2019, Jen was part of a team that was honored with the “Education Advances” Award by Hobsons (a college readiness advocacy group) and a “Counselor that Changes Lives” Commendation by the Colleges that Change Lives Consortium. Jen earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership at Loyola University Maryland and a BA in Sociology and Women’s Studies from University of Maryland, College Park. She enjoys adventures with her family, volunteering, creating opportunities for leadership, and quiet moments near water.
“Want to thank you and the team. [Our son] was accepted to every school where he competed his application including a special opportunity [to study in Ireland for his first semester]. Until he met with you and the team, he didn’t believe he would be accepted based on the intense competition in our area. It was working with your team that he built excitement and inspiration. We are thrilled that he had choices based on great coaching.”
