Rocket Claman
Rocket is passionate about helping students articulate their dreams and experiences through writing in order to afford them the opportunity to have excellent choices for college. She firmly believes that the right school is the one that will make a student the happiest. Rocket uses her background in creative writing and research to empower students to craft compelling narratives, and she has a keen eye for editing. Many of her students have been accepted to top universities around the country.
Rocket is also a Resume and Interview Specialist. She frequently administers mock interviews to prepare students to think on their feet and convey meaningful information to their admissions interviewer. Her attention to detail and strategic approach also help students create strong resumes. Rocket regularly collaborates with Moxie counselors to help map a college admissions plan to enable students to achieve their goals.
Rocket Claman graduated cum laude with high honors from Harvard University with a degree in History and Literature and Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. Her senior honors thesis was nominated for a Hoopes Prize, and she has experience editing other honors theses on a variety of topics ranging from criminal justice reform to Russian NGOs to neuroscience.
