I serve anyone who has been left out or left behind in a traditional classroom. My program is built for neurodiverse learners from the ground up: it’s about connecting with students to encourage them, finding the ways they learn best, and delivering the most effective instruction possible.

Founded in NYC, Onsen Education is a boutique tutoring firm dedicated to private, personalized test prep with master tutors for the U.S. admissions tests and academic support—primarily SAT/ACT, GMAT/GRE, MCAT, LSAT, and APs.

Onsen tutors have at least five years’ teaching experience, have graduated from top-25 universities, and scored in the 99th percentile of the tests they teach. We take a unique approach to test prep, using mindfulness techniques to alleviate test stress/anxiety paired with personalized curricula fully customized to our students’ in-lesson needs.

Parlance Educators offers academic tutoring, test preparation, and project consultation with the student as an individual at the center of our focus. Over 20 years, I’ve been fortunate to guide many students through confusion to success on their math and writing courses, LSATs, GREs, GMATs; ACTs, and SATs. I’m particularly fond of helping highly competitive, neurodiverse, exceptionally anxious (or just generally misunderstood!) students find solutions to their academic and testing problems.

We teach study skills and time management that help students earn better grades in less time. We specialize in students whose grades don’t reflect how smart they are, athletes, and STEM enthusiasts. Our mission is to motivate students to do more than they think is possible, teach them how to accomplish it, and push them to achieve their greatest goals.
