Meet Katherine

Katherine has over twenty years of experience in editing and interviews. In her essay work, she loves tapping into each student’s story, asking thoughtful questions to foster the flow of ideas and shape a narrative. She relishes the challenge of bringing out a writer’s authentic voice, and adapts her approach to fit how each student works best. Her interview coaching is informed by years of interviewing applicants to her alma mater, Princeton. She has an interactive style and provides real-time feedback to help students practice and become comfortable. Katherine also works with students on admissions videos, offering guidance on technical details, content, and delivery. Her students have shared that she helps put them at ease and express themselves in their own words.
