Yahellah Best has a passion for connecting with students while helping them on their path of self-discovery and supporting them in shaping and sharing their stories. With over 10 years of experience working in higher education, Yahellah brings this distinctive perspective with her when coaching students to write authentic and compelling college admissions essays. She values working collaboratively with students’ support teams to produce compelling admissions materials and is looking forward to providing additional support for your student during their writing process.
Yahellah graduated from Brown University with a degree in Anthropology and Ethnic Studies and from Boston University with a Masters in Higher Education Administration as a merit scholar. Currently, Yahellah is an Associate Director at Johns Hopkins University coaching first-generation and Pell Grant-eligible college students on successfully navigating and engaging with the university. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world, taking boxing classes, yoga, and dancing.
